  • Prioritize projects for on-time delivery and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Must have 2+ years’ experience with industrial control panel design, UL508A, BOMs, ECOs, design, drafting and SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical.

Senior Buyer

Location: North Attleboro, MA

DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Buyer you will be directly responsible for facilitating the procurement of materials and related services required by the company. This position will oversee the purchasing function, collaborate closely with Materials Management, Outside Sales, Production and Planning, and support the company’s overall growth plan.

  • Establish strategies to improve supply chain, solve shortage issues and strengthen supplier relationships
  • Obtain materials, components and equipment, as required by the production schedule
  • Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the development, prototype and production cycle
  • Expedite orders as necessary
  • Establish and maintain relations with suppliers and appropriate representatives
  • Direct and procure supplier technical and operating expertise as required to internal customer
  • Maintain an awareness of materials and procurement concepts • Verify data accuracy, report problems to appropriate parties
  • Develop written procedures for routine protocols and keep them current for the Purchasing Dept.
  • Identify problem areas and offer possible solutions
  • Complete special assignments for the Operations department • Track progress of parts to ensure time schedules and delivery
  • Work with engineering on new product introductions, including early supplier involvement
  • Implement improvement processes to reduce inventory and non-value add work
  • Monitors, analyzes, and reports material variances to standard cost. Interfaces with Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to establish standard costs.
  • Responsible for optimizing material costs through vendor analysis, quality, schedule, cost evaluation, etc. Applies cost effective measures as related to support standard cost and make/buy decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing or Business CPM or CPIM and APICS with 4 plus years’ experience purchasing in a manufacturing environment.

Must be detail oriented and self-motivated, have strong organizational and negotiating skills, experience with supplier managed inventory, and a track record of cost, inventory and lead time reduction.

Quality Engineer

DESCRIPTION

As the Quality Engineer you will have operational responsibility over iAutomation’s Quality Management System. You will perform various tasks to innovate, develop, release, and sustain internal quality and manufacturing processes, support Manufacturing operations by identifying performance gaps and developing process or solutions to assure the continuity of durable, error-free processes and be a driver of behaviors and company culture that support, and are consistent with, iAutomation’s Mission and Values.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

Primary responsibilities for the:

  • Maintenance of company quality certifications & credentials
    • Including ISO 9000, UL, IPC, ETL
  • Performance of quality system and process audits throughout the company
  • Corrective and Preventative Action (CPAR) process including coordination of efforts to identify root causes of failure and implementing permanent corrective actions
  • Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) system.
  • Develop/deploy manufacturing process controls and associated measures (metrics) that allow monitoring and communication of critical process deliverables
  • Management of the calibration system
  • Non-conformed material process
  • Participation in development and maintenance of the Document Management and Change Control Processes
  • Summary and analysis of Customer Complaint data
  • Support training activities in support of quality objectives as required
  • Participate in the Safety Committee
  • Support and participate in costing analyses performed by financial analysts in support of cost of quality and cost management
  • Support and monitor the development and maintenance of manufacturing processes
  • Develop a receiving inspection capability • Develop a first article inspection process
  • Release/maintain FAI process

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role in a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Quality environment.

    QUALIFICATIONS
