Electrical Engineer

Location: North Attleboro, MA

DESCRIPTION

As an Electrical Engineer you will be directly responsible for researching, designing and developing industrial control panels.

  • Meet with internal and external customers to understand scope of project
  • Review and confirm technical aspects are relative to design
  • Estimate budgets based on customer specifications • Assemble BOMs from specifications
  • Prioritize projects for on-time delivery and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Must have 2+ years’ experience with industrial control panel design, UL508A, BOMs, ECOs, design, drafting and SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical.

Senior Buyer

Location: North Attleboro, MA

COMPANY

iAutomation, a high technology distributor of industrial automation components, has an immediate opening for a Senior Buyer located in North Attleboro Massachusetts. iAutomation’s product offering includes machine control, motion control, sensing and vision, safety systems, mechanical components and stages. We offer engineered systems and services to provide OEM and end user customers a complete automation solution.

DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Buyer you will be directly responsible for facilitating the procurement of materials and related services required by the company. This position will oversee the purchasing function, collaborate closely with Materials Management, Outside Sales, Production and Planning, and support the company’s overall growth plan.

  • Establish strategies to improve supply chain, solve shortage issues and strengthen supplier relationships
  • Obtain materials, components and equipment, as required by the production schedule
  • Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the development, prototype and production cycle
  • Expedite orders as necessary
  • Establish and maintain relations with suppliers and appropriate representatives
  • Direct and procure supplier technical and operating expertise as required to internal customer
  • Maintain an awareness of materials and procurement concepts • Verify data accuracy, report problems to appropriate parties
  • Develop written procedures for routine protocols and keep them current for the Purchasing Dept.
  • Identify problem areas and offer possible solutions
  • Complete special assignments for the Operations department • Track progress of parts to ensure time schedules and delivery
  • Work with engineering on new product introductions, including early supplier involvement
  • Implement improvement processes to reduce inventory and non-value add work
  • Monitors, analyzes, and reports material variances to standard cost. Interfaces with Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to establish standard costs.
  • Responsible for optimizing material costs through vendor analysis, quality, schedule, cost evaluation, etc. Applies cost effective measures as related to support standard cost and make/buy decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing or Business CPM or CPIM and APICS with 4 plus years’ experience purchasing in a manufacturing environment.

Must be detail oriented and self-motivated, have strong organizational and negotiating skills, experience with supplier managed inventory, and a track record of cost, inventory and lead time reduction.

Account Manager, New Hampshire/Vermont

DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed annual goals and objectives. By establishing solid and longterm OEM Machine Builder and End User business relationships you will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to achieve these goals.

  • Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share.
  • Generate, qualify and manage all sales leads, prospects and new customer accounts to meet/exceed agreed team and individual sales objectives.
  • Develop sales strategies and goals for distribution and integration opportunities.
  • Manage designated sales leads, prospects and customer accounts in a manner incumbent with agreed business objectives. Follow-up all sales opportunities (Direct and indirect) on a timely basis. Capture and document all pertinent information in Netsuite (CRM).
  • Manage Key Account relationships and Supplier relationships. This will include collaboration with suppliers, pricing negotiations with both customers and key suppliers.
  • Work closely with iAutomation Customer Relations and Engineering teams to ensure the best solution for the customer.
  • Maintain and report sales forecasts, potential sales, customer feedback and activity plan and other reports, as required.
  • Continuously support the development of strong relationship with key customers. Build and maintain strong relationship with key decision makers.

REQUIREMENTS & ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or an equivalent discipline with 5 years’ experience in a technical sales role. Experience selling and supporting industrial automation projects. Experience managing high-value strategic customers. Proven track record of successful business development and strong relationship building skills. Proficiency with MS Office, creating technical sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
