Account Manager, Greenville, South Carolina

Location: Greenville, South Carolina

We offer engineered systems and services to provide OEM and end user customers a complete automation solution.

DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed annual goals and objectives. By establishing solid and longterm OEM Machine Builder and End User business relationships you will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to achieve these goals.

  • Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share.
  • Generate, qualify and manage all sales leads, prospects and new customer accounts to meet/exceed agreed team and individual sales objectives.
  • Develop sales strategies and goals for distribution and integration opportunities.
  • Manage designated sales leads, prospects and customer accounts in a manner incumbent with agreed business objectives. Follow-up all sales opportunities (Direct and indirect) on a timely basis. Capture and document all pertinent information in Netsuite (CRM).
  • Manage Key Account relationships and Supplier relationships. This will include collaboration with suppliers, pricing negotiations with both customers and key suppliers.
  • Work closely with iAutomation Customer Relations and Engineering teams to ensure the best solution for the customer.
  • Maintain and report sales forecasts, potential sales, customer feedback and activity plan and other reports, as required.
  • Continuously support the development of strong relationship with key customers. Build and maintain strong relationship with key decision makers.

REQUIREMENTS & ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or an equivalent discipline with 5 years’ experience in a technical sales role. Experience selling and supporting industrial automation projects. Experience managing high-value strategic customers. Proven track record of successful business development and strong relationship building skills. Proficiency with MS Office, creating technical sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.

Customer Relations Coordinator

Location: High Point, North Carolina

DESCRIPTION

As the Customer Relations Representative you will be directly responsible for:

  • Data Entry into the ERP System
  • Generating, reviewing and analyzing reports related to customer and sales activity
  • Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery dates; communicating tracking and follow up information regarding customer orders
  • Command of general order entry skills
  • Quoting products and services
    • Generate and recommend additional sales by identifying customer opportunities
    • Generate and recommend additional sales due to command of product knowledge
    • Product selection
  • Quote follow up including answering customer questions on pricing, product and lead time
    • Margin adjustments as needed within designated approval matrix
  • Identify customer needs for overall customer satisfaction
  • Meet company sales goals
  • Recognize and resolve customer needs including selecting and explaining the best solution for the customer and expediting corrections or adjustments
  • Proactive customer service
  • Work with other departments to exceed customer expectations
  • Generate and review reports as needed to meet customer demands (e.g. Open Orders, Late Orders)
  • Build and maintain sustainable customer and internal department relationships
  • Recognizing and documenting Sales Leads

REQUIREMENTS & ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Requires a minimum of an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of Customer Service experience in a highly technical environment and the ability to analyze sales trends.

Regional Sales Manager Southeast

Location: Southeast

COMPANY

iAutomation, a high technology distributor of industrial automation components, has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager (technical sales) in the Southeast region. iAutomation’s product offering includes machine control, motion control, sensing and vision, safety systems, mechanical components and stages. We offer engineered systems and services to provide OEM and end user customers a complete automation solution.

DESCRIPTION

The candidate will report to a Director of Sales and be responsible for managing the customers and resources within the territory, Sales Engineers, and having key account responsibility, while executing the iAutomation sales strategy. A successful RSM will drive revenue and margin growth through strategy, management, monitoring, and reporting of sales activity within their team. In addition, you will work with Product Managers, Operations staff, Customer Service teams, and other sales management to assure a positive customer experience. This position requires a high level of activity and use of our CRM system (NetSuite) to manage your territory. A solid understanding of our product and solution offering, as well as the Industrial Automation marketplace is essential.

REQUIREMENTS & ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a four-year Engineering degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical or Electrical, with 7+ years’ experience in industrial automation sales. Relevant experience selling similar or related products to our portfolio is a plus. The ability to manage and mentor team members is essential to success in this role. Proven experience in implementing sales strategy, penetrating new potential clients, forming relationships, and growing sales dollars is crucial to your success.
