Job Description
- Leadership, management and development of warehouse talent.
- Department responsibility to include: receiving, unpacking, quality checking and ensuring all inbound material is received into stock daily. The Warehouse team is also responsible for picking, packing and preparing all orders.
- Develop and track warehouse KPI’s and driving accountability and improvement actions.
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions.
- Drive process improvement on material flow across building.
- Confirm on time delivery to customer service and communicate if shipments are delayed.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels for accuracy and physical space utilization.
- Creating inventory cycle counting processes and completing cycle counting on-time and accurately.
- Proactively review team member workloads and adjust as necessary.
- Ensure area is cleaned daily and equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Order supplies in a timely manner.
- Negotiate Logistics.
- Continuously work to improve processes and eliminate waste.
- Develop and track warehouse KPI’s and driving improvements on short-fall goals.
- Create and update department goals and policies.
- Manage team performance and recommend productivity improvements.
- Drive Inventory management between parts and manufacturing.
- Maintain OSHA safety standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
(The scope of the individual’s authority, including a list of jobs that report to the incumbent)
- Manage Warehouse teams’ daily schedules, approve timecards, time off, develop/update and deliver department processes and procedures, training of team.
- Responsible for Warehouse employees at multiple facilities: Warehouse Team Lead, Warehouse Specialists.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree preferred, BS Business, Operations, or equivalent
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with familiarity of industrial automation products and working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data
- Proactively look at future shipments and complete necessary approval for stock on-hand and shipping on-time
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time-management and communication skills
- Experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Inventory management
- Change management
- Managing teams at multiple sites
- Hands-on manager
- Team player
- OSHA forklift certification or willingness to complete certification within 30 days of hire
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Use of equipment, sharp objects and ladder climbing.

- Use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
